Three thoughts:

Wood and Metal: I do not understand this, the way it is written. It's clear you have an idea, but the intention behind the second half of each of the two sentences is not coming through.

Mutable form. What's a component?

The Scout Recon ability is quite powerful, and is a slightly weakened version of the Rogue's cunning action, which is a key ability. The effect of this will be that there will be fewer scout rogues. (The same is true of goblins in Volo's; because they all have an ability that echoes Cunning action, it's more interesting to make a fighter goblin, or a sorcerer goblin, than a rogue goblin. I see that as a weakness.) Perhaps consider something else (and do we really need another race with a dex bonus?): perhaps +1 Wis, and additionally advantage on investigation checks. or something.

(Also, specify the speed of the scout, since so many small races are 25') Hope this helps.

I second about the Scout ability. Rather than remove it, I recommend giving them an ability that highly favors the rogue. For instance, the hill dwarf gets +2 Str and Medium armor. Classes that want the medium armor don't need the Str; classes that want the Str already have the medium armor.

I'm not sure what the ability could be, but something.

The wording seems to imply that you are considered a Construct, rather than a Humanoid or 'Living Construct'. This changes the way a lot of things interact if that is actually the case.

How are you defining "magical healing"?

The immunities granted are rather powerful. You might want to either throw in an alternative effect of exhaustion in, for example. As it is written, Warforged would be rather broken as berserker barbarians for a start.
