Help me build a Dwarf Monk

Have a look at the Immovability, Ram, Instant Stand, Stonebones and Sprint feats from the KPG. Some guy used some of them some weeks ago to build a dwarven bowling ball. Then go the Improved Trip feat chain.

Improved Disarm is nice if you stunned your opponent with Stunning fist. Flurry, first attack stun, second trip, extra trip attack disarm...

I would neglect Dexterity. Go for high Constitution, Wisdom and Strenght. Rely on magic boost for AC and concentrate on dishing out damage instead of trying to dodge everything.

Dont think you even need Improved Disarm if you stun your opponent. According to the PHB a stunned opponent already drops whatever they were holding.

The disarm route isn't so bad when wielding a quarterstaff. Being a two-handed weapon will give you a sizeable bonus against many creatures. And you can still use your unarmed strike with the staff in hand and you can flurry with it as well.

I have a 3rd level dwarven monk. Took Stunning Fist as bonus feat, Improved Grapple, Combat Reflexes, and Weapon Focus (unarmed strike).

Currently planning to take Improved Disarm as the bonus feat at 6th, and with 18 Str that will give him a +16 (4 BAB + 4 STR + 4 2-handed wpn + 4 feat) against a foe wielding a medium weapon - with no chance of counterdisarm. Compared with a +9 attack bonus for an unarmed strike, I reckon this is a sizeable advantage to ruin full-attacks.

However, Improved Trip could be cool when mixed with Knockdown (Sword and Fist). But for a trip attempt, even when a dwarf, this is unlikely to be much use against anything of size large or larger, and the countertrip could be disastrous.

And yeah, successful stun causes opponent to drop weapon, and a successful grapple will effectively disarm most opponents wielding weapons, so maybe Improved Trip/Knockdown combo provides another tactic.
