Help me equip a 15th level character (my players stay out!)

The character is a 15th level paladin who will be joining our game very soon. Here's a little background:
Sharaf was a simple, honorable farmer who held to the ancient ways of a long-missing god. Until today. Today, that god showed up at his house and asked him to be his new avatar in the world of mortals. The god will be equipping him.

I need to equip Sharaf with some appropriate gear. This should include a scythe, light or medium armor, and full-plate barding for his mount. The god is a diety of time, travel, free will, and undeath. Equipment should be valued at whatever is appropriate for a 15th level character, per the DMG (200,000?).

Thanks!

+1 Keen Holy Frost Scythe (50,318 gp)
Ring of Freedom of Movement (40,000 gp)
Breastplate of Command (25,400 gp)
+1 Light Fortification Full Plate Barding (10,300 gp)
Cloak of Charisma +4 (16,000 gp)
Amulet of Health +4 (16,000 gp)
Belt of Giant Strength +4 (16,000 gp)
Boots of Speed (12,000 gp)
Heward's Handy Haversack (2,000 gp)
Ring of Protection +2 (8,000 gp)
Horseshoes of Speed (3,000 gp)

Leaves about 1,000 gp for various equipment. If you want more, drop the Frost enhancement on the Scythe.

Tangent alert! What domains does this god have? I've got a god IMC who is concerned with travel, fairness, and undeath. I've never bothered to come up with domains for him beyond Travel and Undeath, and could use some inspiration. Thanks!

Umm... full plate for the horse but not the PC?

The pricing of equipment doesn't really work at this level: his equipment should be +5 equivalent (q.v. Greater Magic Weapon cast by a 15th level caster). So he'll have +5 Mithril armour, a couple of +5 weapons (main weapon + secondary weapon), etc. Unless your campaign is stricter, of course.

And a scythe is a little clichéd, don't you think? Not to mention a bit obvious and difficult to wield in company. How about a polearm instead?

On second thoughts, he's a peasant farmer: what's he doing with shining armour and all that stuff? And his Paladin's Warhorse should be replaced by a feat or two.

For a weapon, give him something like a Sunstaff (BoED), for armour give him some super-light Celestial Armor +5 that can be hidden under his peasant's robes, so he can dramatically throw off the robes and be revealed.

Consider making him a Paladin 3 / Ranger 5 / Divine Crusader 7 or Paladin 3 / Fighter 2 / Rgr 3 / Divine Crusader 7 - but allow extra domains at 4th and 8th level. This way you don't have to worry about having a good Wis stat. Also consider using the Saint template.

For misc magic items, Belt of Strength and Cloak of Charisma are good choices - especially if you go Divine Crusader - but don't forget Dex.

I'd also give him a dagger which is a Luckblade with one or two Wishes left.

I haven't really thought about his domains too much. The god is based on both the Orisha Ellegua and the Endless Destiny. He is the guardian of all paths. It is only by extension that he is a god of the undead (those who have strayed from the great path of life and death), or luck/divination (being able to see where different paths might take you), and free will (it is imperitive that all beings be able to follow their own path). At some point, one of my players looked up and said, "So what...he's the god of quantum mechanics?" :) The "God of undeath" is a bit misleading...he's more a "God of seeing the undead along their way". It's a long story. :)
