Have a low-level spellcaster SHATTER his scimitar. It won't get rid of his attacks, but it will reduce them. Or have the cleric controlling the undead around it warded with the SANCTUARY spell... or the Magic Circle vs. (whatever Tempests alignment is) spell.

An invisible summoner (maybe with a wand) will 1) let the player do his thing and 2) wear him down. You just need to find a way to keep the other party members away from the invisible summoner.

You could even be deceptive... have the only 'living' Bad-Booty amongst a group of undead actually BE undead (vampire?).

And with all that dual-wielding & crit dealing. You can always throw him up against a living opponant with the Combat Expertise feat, coupled with Fighting Defensively that's a +7 to AC. There have to be a few other tricks that can be pulled with this one. Maybe a pair of these guys and thier power-attacking, glaive-weilding, & Large and In-Charge friend behind them.

I personally prefer solutions that allow the player to have thier fun, but still prove challengeing (without feeling like a giant tennis shoe falling out of the sky and killing the player... proof of DM frustration in our 2nd Edition days).

EDIT: Illusions would probabily frustrate this guy too.

yeah, if he had to remake the same character using 3.5 rules, he probably wouldn't bother. of course, when he made this guy in 2001, all of this was perfectly legal, and since the campaign i inherited is 3.0/3.5 hybrid, it still is legal. i have no intention of taking anything away from him, i just want to limit the effectiveness of all his neat stuff to frustrate him. *evil laughter*

I second the idea of an invisible, [levitating, always levitating!] summoner. Summon Monster III for 1d4+1 Fiendish dire rats...every turn.

Two words..."Armor Class".

The guy you described is awfully close to the character I've been playing for the last five years. At 20th level, I get 7 attacks per round (thanks to TWF, ITWF, and GTWF) and can drop a single creature in one round. However, I rarely do, for the following reasons:

1.) If the ACs are high, my iterative attacks tend to miss. (Especially the third and fourth ones).

2.) The need to move around generally prevents the use of a full attack action.

3.) My hps aren't exactly "tank-like", so I generally am forced to back off after that first round, or need to rely on Combat Expertise to improve my AC, thereby reducing my number of hits.

4.) With seven attacks per round, I generally fumble before finishing the round. We play that once you fumble, your round is over.

5.) I'm generally rendered useless by curses, negative levels, ability damage/drain, etc.

We also use the Imp. Crit and keen stack, and have found it to be a non-issue.

So my advice...crank the enemies' AC and throw in some clerics. Man, I hate those clerics and all their debilitating spells.
