Help me name a new monk-type class

How about Master of the Hand or Master of the Open Fist??

To help reduce sterotyping based on a name, find a name like the popular Warfist, and run with it. Then in the description or customization section give names of other archetypes and ways to customize the class by feat/skill selection.

I am making some assumptions here so please humor me:

If you have 2 bonus feats by 4rth level and they want a

Pugilist: Improved Unarmed Damage (Random Feat Name), Dodge with Bluff Sense and Sense motive.
Grappler: Improved Grapple and Clever Wrestling with Escape Artist

Just a thought.. :)

I like Warfist, but what happens when the Warfist's martial art/combat style is mostly kick/foot based?

Wardancer? Battle-Athlete? Martial Adept? Pitfighter? Streetfighter? :D Ironhand? Master of the Self? Disciple of the Body? Flesh Warrior? Battle Disciple? Warsavant?

Its going to be a generic unarmed fighting class which you could customize to do martial arts, brawling, punching, wrestling, or grappling depending on class choices you make. It won't have any crazy funky powers like the monk and will mostly have just mundane abilities. It will get its own Prestige Classes for powers like the current Monk has.

Yes, yes! Even better!

What do you call someone who can kick an Ogres head clean off?

'Sir'

Is there an in world reason for why these guys follow an unarmed tradition? A God who fought that way or a legendary warrior? If so the name could be related to the classes inspiration.

Generic names:

Battle Dancer
Disciple
Boxer
Hand
Thrasher
Fighter
Ass Kicker
Head Booter
Grubermen
