help me name my disaster

If there is a strong religious influence in the cultures then the name really should have some reference to the god(s)

"The Revenge/Cleansing of the Gods" "The day Mordain's Hammer struck the mountains." "The day the Heavens shook." "The day hell's souls burst through the earth. (aka "The day of the soul escape" or if the souls are messangers to heaven and/or earth then "the day of the message" ) " etc...

If the natural disasters happen in heavily populated areas, then there is probably lots of death so some morbid title might be more appropriate.

"The day of the purging" "The day of death" "The day of sorrow" "The day of the weeping"

I don't know, just some thoughts...

my pantheon as it stands:

Very influential church of the Sun (Sol'Mihr) - intrinsically linked to city bureaucracy, healing, and defence.

Smaller and keeps-to-themselves church of the Moon (Lun'Luna), pursuing academic astronomy work as well as associating more freely with mages (who also tend to be into astronomy) and explorers (who are interested in astronomy as it relates to navigation)

Gods based on the zodiac calendar/constellations have small churches/number of worshippers and rarely interact with the public at all in the city my campaign is based in.

Other cults worship entities capable of granting spells, but are not even known to the public.

Druids have a form of earth-worship, of course (Mer) and high-level druids will become important in unravelling various cosmological mysteries at some point.

Well if there is such a strong Sun god influence, how about "The day the sun didn't shine" if there was a lot of overcast from storms or possibly an eclipse that goes with the shaking.

Or more symbolic than actual by something like "The day Sol'Mihr did not hear our cries."

Just playing on the idea of Sol'Mihr having such strong influence over the people....

The Fate's Judgement
The Day the Sun Spoke

Sense you're considering getting Druid's into the picture:
Mer's Awakening
Mer's Anger
Mer's Revenge

several

Since you said that there had been several througout the history, just call it

LC for Last Cataclysm.

So 400 years after the last one would be 400 LC
