Intelligent Blademaster means that STR is virtually a throw-away stat for Swordmage, so Eladrin becomes a viable option.

Intelligent Blademaster means that STR is virtually a throw-away stat for Swordmage, so Eladrin becomes a viable option.

Viable, but not preferable.

Actually, it can make a big difference in powers, especially which Daily you go with even at Level 1.

With good strength: Burning Blade is the stuff.

With low strength: Frost Backlash is much better.

You want at least a +1 for Greenflame Blade to help with minion clearing unless you want to go burst with a lower attack bonus.

That looks like a lot of fun!

If you are looking for advice, I might change out Booming Blade with Lightning Lure. My group's swordmage was really desperate for a ranged attack until he got that one, and frankly, lightning lure's a great way to pull the bad guys to you. It's golden against flying enemies.
