If you're looking for something with name recognition by your players, how about Sidhe or Tuatha Dé Danann?
Or if you want to invoke Greek myth, you could call them Orpheans, a bit of a play on words if you go for the "lost children of the god" vibe.
Last one I've got is Seraph, if you want a really otherworldly feel to them, maybe drawing on Tolkien's Maiar - immortal spirits taking physical form to guide others.
