Help me think of a name for...my PC's horse

vote Bob.

Every critter my family ever had was some variety of Bob. Kitty-bob, Bob the goat, good dawg Bob, Bob-the-Rooster, old Bob the Mule, cousin Bob [she's purty], or my dad, Bob.

Bob's a good name.

If you wish to ignore the above (and you should) what type world are you playing in?? It took me three monthes to name my char's current horse.

Seriously, don't name horses. They're the aluminum cans of D&D - Use it for a while, crush it against your forehead, take another one off the plastic ring and repeat. Get into a fight with bandits on the road? Guess what isn't surviving. Exploring some ancient ruins/enemy fortress/dungeon du jour? Guess what's not going to be alive when you get back.



And under no circumstances should you name your horse after a Prince song (R.I.P., Cream). That's just like giving Lady Luck the finger, and she doesn't much care for that sort of thing at all.

Fire is symbolic for chaos though. That would be like naming a sword ChaosChaos.
