Help me think of a name for...my PC's horse

binky (deaths horse, courtesy of terry pratchett) also used as the mount for my paladin turned blackguard. "so, you do not wish to join me and reap ultimate power, my former comrades? Come Binky, let us destroy these fools....charge!"

Crazy
throat sweet (if it's a little horse)
bait
cantankerous old git
Darling

Seriously, don't name horses. They're the aluminum cans of D&D - Use it for a while, crush it against your forehead, take another one off the plastic ring and repeat. Get into a fight with bandits on the road? Guess what isn't surviving. Exploring some ancient ruins/enemy fortress/dungeon du jour? Guess what's not going to be alive when you get back.
Agreed. So you should use these names:

Lou
Al
Umkan
Minnie

And only those names. I think eventually someone will catch on when you run through your dead horses:
Al, Lou, Minnie, Umkan... Al II, Lou II, Minnie II, Umkan II, ... :)

And under no circumstances should you name your horse after a Prince song (R.I.P., Cream). That's just like giving Lady Luck the finger, and she doesn't much care for that sort of thing at all.

Ivy rode old Brownie in two campaigns. Brownie was one of the few things she had left from her old life. She even convinced one party to face a dire bear to get Brownie back when she was stolen.

of course of course

My favorite horse-name I've seen in-game is for a paladin mount: Conundrum

LMAO

The best I have was the mount of Mygothic Sunsteel, the paladin's paladin. His steed was Muffin.

Well, if you aren't going to use Bill (so what if it's a horse & not a pony, bah), I think Hiho would be good...

'Hiho, Hiho, it's off to... um, wait. Away, I mean! Yeah, away.'

Hmm. That'd work better for a dwarf's horse, I guess.
