Help me with a kick butt char

There isn't any EWP (Waraxe). That's free due to being a dwarf.

You can't trade Flurry for Improved Grapple. One's a bonus feat and the other comes standard on monks. But I think the Monk does get the bonus feat at 2nd level and could take it. Or if you dropped the Monk levels for Fighter you could take it and get GWF and GWS faster.

Opps. Hate when I don't double check myself. ;)

Course, dropping the Monk levels for Fighters drops the +1 to Fort saves (no big deal), but +2 to Reflex and Will saves and the very potent Evasion.

The +2 to Reflex/Will saves is certainly nice. Evasion, however, is not very potent when wearing medium armor.

also if you take monk/fighter/paladin you will only be able to advance in one of those classes and unless two are the same level you will always take xp penalties. Always like fighter/rogue, get a blursstrike weapon and the first attack a round against a opponent is a ssneak attack. high strength plus sneak attack (and you can wear hvy armor because you dont have to catch you opponent flat foolted they are automatically flat footed even if they see you coming) maybe fighter 4/rogue 3/ barbarian1 get some rage in that sneak attack/powerattack

He has Evasion and he didn't take a Mithral Breastplate???

Nevermind.

Drop the Monk levels.

Yep, the Evasion vs Full-Plate is certainly a dilemma (didn't actually think about the armor restriction on Evasion  ), the Monk levels do offer a bit more, tho. Bonus feats, decent skill base, +3 on all saves, etc.

Lower HD. There's also the accusation of Power Gaming.

To which our friend should respond "Duh, you only gave me access to the core rules, two magic items, and a campaign filled with hack'n slash tactical NPCs. I thought that translated to 'Please, Power Game, I'm begging you.'"

Edit: Does your DM use Multiclassing restrictions (example: XP penalties)?

Yes, using that class I would receive a 20% xp penalty as it is in the core rules. And This is a power gaming game, so the restrictions that were applied were on the number of magic items.

Hey, with those classes you could write up a totally reasonable character background. :)

Exactly, but this game has no role-playing only "roll-playing" :P

There is no enforcement of "table-talk" as well as no bonuses for role playing.

I still role play my wizard a bit :)
