2 were the other 2 were goofing around. Two goofing around were a Druid and warlock. Bard and fighter were the other two.
Campaign ended not much longer after that (wasn't worth running).

I know the feeling. I had a couple who drank more and more and started smoking joints mid-game. I ended it when they said they couldn't concentrate for more than 2 hours...

I coukd handle that if they were effective enough.
We generally don't do drinking with D&D. We'll 1 or 2 is fine.
If we do it's understood it's a drinking session 1st with a side helping of D&D. And that's happened maybe 2 or 3 times in a decade. After the 1st bottle of wine, 6 beers or 3 craft beers its usually better to focus on the drinking part.
