Help Remembering Spell

I have a vague recollection of a spell that more or less created a time bubble, in which tiem passed more quickly within the area of effect of the spell, such that it allowed either a single caster or group of casters to come out of the spell and rememorize spells as if they had rested a night. I think it in OAD&D it might have been "Dream," but I'm not certain.

Anyway, does anyone know of a spell or effect similar to that that still exists in 3.5? Help greatly appreciated.

I remember using a spell called "Nap" in AD&D to sleep for an hour and recover spells. I don't have anymore details than that.
