I also agree cleric or druid is going to be your best choice. in WotW, I took a fighter who turned antipaladin because he wanted to restore Taldor to its "former glory" and willingly accepted Asmodeus as a means to do that. He was more of a Visionary Villain / Well-Intentioned Extremist, which seemed to work a lot better than just Stupid Evil. And while I liked the character, paladins and antipaladins are great when they're fighting the opposite alignment and very much less great when fighting the same alignment. Which is rarely a problem for paladins, but evil tends to fight evil a lot (see also Battle of Stalingrad, The Blood War) and WotW is no different.
