Skald. Multiclassed Bard/Barbarian. Keep putting skill points into Perform, and look for magic items that increase your Strength.

Your stats scream bard or wizard to me.

Since you guys are destined to be crappy in a brawl consider an illusionist. Illusion spells will help you bypass otherwise troublesome combat. Three spellcasters and a lightly armored roguish character will give your party a lot of stealth potential.

Gnome would be a natural choice, too. I recommend either a bat or a toad for a familiar if you want to minmax.

Spellcasting Prodigy would be a good choice for a first feat, gets your DCs up and you will get extra spells in the long term. The standard first feats for wiz/sor are Improved Initiative and Combat Casting; as I said, you will try to avoid fair fights, so don't bother there.

Those aren't bad stats, and to use those best, and fill a roll for the party, you might want to think about Paladin. You aren't very strong, or dexterous, but the paladin's special abilities will fill in a lot of those gaps for you.

Think about this one: A halfling paladin. You sacrifice a little more strength to make your dexterity a bit more respectable in combat. Then focus on mounted combat -- and get a riding dog and a small lance. The Dog is key because he can navigate most dungeon terrain that Horses would not be able to handle, and if you need to he's light enough that other members of the party can help him climb. (I'm playing a halfling illusionist rogue right now who casts spider climb on his riding dog to handle the rough spots -- that makes for some interesting rides, let me tell you!).

Oh, and as FR paladin of Yondalla you can multiclass freely as a monk, which might help develop some of the other skills, like tumble, that will help the little guy stay alive.

If I where you then no doubt I would go a 20th Lvl Elminster.
They are pure filth. I mean cmon, are you telling me that Chosen of mystra isnt a good ability. :o

Otherwise , a strong character concept can be developed by a 3rd LvL commoner, 15th LvL Psi Ranger. Now thats cool dude

Dont forget Monte Cooks alt Chefmaster.

Cool cookies.

Bard's the option. Since the other roles (Ftr/Rog/Wiz/Clr) are all covered, and your stats are NOT adequate for a tank, use a jack-of-all-trades to complement the other guys (and sing their feats to the world). Bards can complement the abilities of each of the other four classes.

I'd gone for a tank too, but you went and put the 17 in intelligence.

Miho is right. If you call yourself Terry Wogan, a bard must you be... Just don't sing. Especially not the "Floral Dance". Please.

I think we just lost our non-UK audience here :D

With those stats he could be an interesting paladin, he could be a spy (rogue who specialises in cha based skills). A good option might be a rogue1/wiz x; that level of rogue increases the skill cap for a wide range of excellent skills and gives you something to spend your 6sp per level on. Keep that Spot skill maxed out, you know it makes sense! (you could do the same with Sorcerer, but the extra slowing down of getting high level spells would make it just not worth the effort).

Let us know what you choose, eh?
