The only problem I've seen with it, and it's not a problem for me (the DM), but more of a problem for the player using it, and that's hurling dozens upon dozens of alchemist's fire or hundreds of shuriken. Other than that, I really dig the spell (or power, for you psion lovers out there ;)).

Come on, the dozens of knives chasing you throu his lair is a classic. :)

I would make it an area of effect as opposed to multiple attacks, but thats just me.

My house rule has been there is a limit on number of items thrown equal to your level. That way you don't get the 5,000 arrows/shuriken pick your poison problems. (actually alchemists fire became a problem once the character got major creation, and fabricate, and was a shaper with alchemy and craft flasks. touch attacks made it too easy almost hence my house rule)

I thought you could only move one object at a time with telekinesis....?

Slow movement yes, violent thruse throws all objects in a 10 by 10 square under the total wieght limit of your tk. Damage is based on weight(see dmg), or damage of weapon. Hence some allow arows since they are listed doing 1d4 if used to stab people, what is it 10 arrors to a pound, you can throw 25 pounds a level, or 250 pounds at 10th level or 2500 arrows, even asuming you only hit on a 20 that is 125 hits or 125d4. Problem some say is carrying the arrows, next problem creation effects, and wheelbarrows, sad but true.

What kind of arrows deals 1d4? Don't forget that weapons still deal their normal weapon damage. I realize that arrows are ammunition, but they are also weapons. Doesn't really make sense to me that they would deal less damage because of the spell.

Well, the damage is more from the power draw of the bow then the actuall arrow. While TK might put some force behind it, I doubt it's the same as a bow. Also, not all of them are going to hit the target, and the ones that do, not all with hit point first.

Hey don't look at me look at the PH, weapon arrow d4. I don't ask, I just tell. 1d4 is when it's a weapon, 1d6 or 1d8 is when its ammunition cause technically the bow is doing 1d6 or 1d8. Or how about looking at it this way arrows do 1d4, short bows do an extra 1d2, and long bows an additionall 1d4.
