Help with wizard class feature varriant??

So im going to play a Conjurer for and i was going to give up my familer for either the rapid summoning feature from Unearthed Arcana or abrupt jaunt from PHB2, so i was wondering which is better in the long run?

Abrupt Jaunt is 100% pure refined crack. Wrapped in 24k gold foil. Nestled in a bed of diamonds. Atop a platinum shrine. Protected by a moat of liquid silver.

If your DM allows it, and you don't care about being cheesier than...something extremely cheesy...it doesn't matter what your character idea is, even if it's a summoner. You're better off with Abrupt Jaunt. No other alternate class feature can hope to compete with it.

The main reason you'd want Rapid Summoning is so your summon spells don't get interrupted. Now Abrupt Jaunt is a supernatural ability that, as written, doesn't take any concentration whatsoever. If you're attacked while casting your 1 round summon spell, just jaunt out of the way! AJ is the King of Alternate Class Feature Land.
