Besides the obvious Dimension Door escape route, you can also still use wands, which can give you something to do. Wand of polymorph is especially fun, turn into something uber-strong and huge and show the creature who's better at grappling!

Probably still them - you won't be able to match their BAB, and assuming minimum caster level on that wand you quite possibly won't be able to match their strength either..

Thanks gang. All great suggestions. I think I like the dimension door idea the best. I will never again be caught without having that spell prepared.

With 7th level polymorph you can already polymorph into an Annis Hag, that should take care of a lot (not all, some grappling monsters have insane bonuses) of grapple problems.
