Here's how dragonborn look in my setting

I drew this a few years back.

By the way, I'm not posting this to say: "look how pretty my drawing is" as much as "Here's the gist of how they look to me". I know I'm a total amateur :D . Basically, I can get an idea across in a sort of graphic shorthand.

How do your dragonborn or other races look?

That's kinda dark. I like it.

I'm still at an impasse on their appearance in my world. I like the art on the cover of the PHB, as it's not really so dragonlike as to be cheezy. I was also thinking of making them look similar to the Draac in the movie Enemy Mine, to use a sci-fi reference.

Right now, though, I have no real strong opinion, so if a Player wants to run one, I'll let them decide.

Thanks. To me, the head, aside from the crest, is how a random dragon should look. I never got into the 3e leonine look, I'm more into the 2e varieties.

It looks really good. The only thing I'm insisting on in my gaming worlds is that they have tails. Any lizard-ish humanoid looks weird to me without a tail.

Didn't the 2nd edition dragons look a lot more leonine that the 3rd edition ones?
