Here's how dragonborn look in my setting

It looks really good. The only thing I'm insisting on in my gaming worlds is that they have tails. Any lizard-ish humanoid looks weird to me without a tail.
yeah. how could anyone think that was a good idea? It's not like I'll ever use them as a pc race, but still... wtf? I thought they would at least grow one at a later stage and get some sweeping attack racial power.
The "beak" of RSKennan's dragonborn reminds me of a dodo. If only db had gone the same way.

Didn't the 2nd edition dragons look a lot more leonine that the 3rd edition ones?
The DL dragons have always looked different from the MM dragons; the 2e dragons generally looked like uglier and worse drawn versions of the 3e ones.

How do your dragonborn or other races look?

I'm planning on making my dragonborn the default "oriental" race... with ninjas and samurai and all that.

I haven't found a good means of illustrating them yet, but I imagine their features with all the same aspects of oriental-style dragons -- mustache-like tendrils and feathery fringed manes and such.

I consider Dragonborn a new name for lizardfolk.

The dragonborn are cool, but my version of them are the originals - draconians!

Gotta love Jason Engle's art! Plus, the new noble draconians...

I really like the spined crest, RSKennan. Very cool.

I haven't though much about my own setting, since I'm planning to convert my Pathfinder Rise of the Runelords game and start up a new Eberron game using the H-series adventures, but if I ever do anything with the Exile setting idea I had I'll probably look for some kind of North American reptile, if not several, to pattern my dragonborn after.
