Planus shakes himself as dry as possible and then restrings his bow. He draws an arrow and begins a short circuit around to the nearest ponds to see what there is to see.

ooc: I'm under the impression Ducane is voluntarily declining a level up in order to qualify for Warmind, which puts our cast at:

Charlarn: Cleric 6/Ranger 2
Iggy: Diviner 7/Loremaster 1
Ducane: Fighter 4/Psychic Warrior 2
Zack: Fighter 4/Barbarian 2
Opale: Illusionist 6
Planus: Cleric 7

(That's a "party level" of 8.1)

The forest seems extraordinarilly peacefull, but that feeling of peace is suddenly broken by a sense of foreboding. You all feel it deep in your gut: something is coming... something alien to this peacefull place! It's as if the forest itself is warning you.
 

IC: Iggy tenses, and quickly casts his mage armor spell. "Everyone get together. There's trouble coming, I think." Iggy then prepares to cast a haste spell on the group if something threatens.

OOC: Despite the high quality of our character judges, I realize I missed something on Iggy's CS, & they didn't catch it either. With the advent of his 20 INT at 8th level, he gets an additional bonus first level spell. I'll tack it on now (as another magic missile) if you don't mind, Patlin.

Add'n 3 Magic missiles from his mnemonic enhancer.
