Crimsyn knew even less than Alet. She was a fighter, not a magic user. Alet had never actually been to the tower or seen the table device that Theremin told him of. “Some magic obviously transported you here,” he said.

"Thank you" Theremin says laconically. It is obvious that if there is a way back home, it'll be in the tower. He heads back to his companions, and if no-one has any additional ideas, he prepares to head to the tower.

OOC: I think it's exploration time folks ;-)
Question for @KahlessNestor, would brokering the peace between two warring villages be a good milestone for a level up? ;-)

The heroes of Hydellor set out along the cracked and broken road that had brought them to the Essian village. The tower was quite a ways from the village, around five hours, but it seemed longer, since there was no real sun in the sky by which to tell time and direction, just a dull, perpetual twilight. They only knew it was day because it was slightly brighter than when it was night.

Nothing accosted the heroes on their way, and soon the shadowed, dilapidated tower rose on the hills above the road, the ring wall crumbling but still intact, the thick wooden gates weathered and grey and slightly ajar. It seemed exactly as you left it.

Theremin spent the night dreaming about the spells he had read. Something must have happened because the next morning, he had a better understanding of the ebbs and flows of the weave, and was eager to try what he thought were interesting spells. After his normal morning ballad to cheer his companions, he bid Crymsin farewell and set on the path to the tower

"We need the scour this place, room by room."

"Agreed, let us proceed systematically, and start with the first one to the right."

Sayine trembled on Theremin’s shoulder. “I don’t like this place,” the faerie dragon said, adjusting her yellow wings. She eyed the dim sky. “It will be dark soon.” Sayine peered ahead at the gates. It had been a few days since they had been here last.

OOC: How are you approaching? Are you just marching through the gates into the bailey?

There is a circular wall around the tower. The wall here (in the Shadowfell) is weathered and old, but it isn't damaged from the seige, with gaps in it, like the one back on the Prime. The gates are grey with age and moss, but still still stout and on their hinges. They are ajar, though, so you can get through.

The tower is the same aged and weathered stone, but there aren't the holes in it that were in the one on the Prime. The door is in the same condition as the gates, and is also slightly open. The grass around here isn't as long as it was back in the Prime, but rather the same dull, half dead grey vegetation that grows throughout the Shadowfell. A few similar trees are around the area and inside the bailey.
