D&D 5E Heroes of Hydellor

Liam felt the goblin he'd targeted move out of range of his tremorsense. All right, new target.

He could hear the others fighting, but the only thing in his range at the moment was a lone wolf attacking Haldor. Liam grinned.

Before he attacked, he realized with his Tremorsense active, he didn't need his blindsight. So he switched gears, letting his blindsight fall (but not his Tremorsense) and focusing more on his psychic attacks.

Then he lashed out at the wolf, sending a crippling blast of mental energy its way.

OOC: Movement: 0

Bonus Action: switch Discipline Focus to the Psychic Assault discipline, which grants +2 to attacks with Psychic Talents. No longer have Blindsight, but am still concentrating on Tremorsense, which will last 1 minute.

Action: Mind Thrust. W1 takes [roll0] psychic damage unless it succeeds on a DC 13 saving throw.

OOC: I see others posted an action last round, and I didn't. I'll post 2 to catch up.

Theremin recoils at the pain of the wolf's bite as he tries to maintain his balance. a thought crosses his mind, as he recalls the recent wound by the goblin why do I keep betting injusted so much

Mindra grunts with pain as the arrow pierces her, but continues fighting.

OOC: Liam is targeting the wolf in front of her. If he drops it, she will retrieve her bow and take a shot at the goblin that shot her. If the wolf is still up she will draw her second dagger and attack the wolf with both daggers. She isn't moving, but if she can crouch down to give anyone trying to shoot her disadvantage because of the tall grass, she will do that.

First attack roll, bow or first dagger (it is the same bonus to hit): Bow or first dagger attack.: 1D20+6 = [3]+6 = 9

Second attack roll: Second dagger attack or second roll for shortbow if it has disadvantage.: 1D20+6 = [20]+6 = 26

Looks like either the shortbow or first dagger attack will miss. But the second dagger attack is a crit. Not that it's needed on a wolf with 1hp. :(

Oh well: Crit dagger damage with Sneak Attack.: 2D4+2D6 = [4, 2]+[4, 2] = 12

"Thank goodness for your quick blade," Haldor says to Minda after she downs the wolf that almost bit him. He blasts more fire at the nearest goblin he can see.

OOC: Fire Bolt on Goblin 1
Spell Attack: [roll0] vs. AC 15
Hit: [roll1] fire damage.

Round 3.1

The wolf yelps as its brain is wracked by Liam’s mighty psychic powers. Theremin kills the wolf attacking him.

Coriana rushes through the grass toward another goblin, skewering it with her rapier and beating it with her torch until it lay dead at her feet.

OOC: Technically g3 was Hidden and would need a Perception check to find, but I will let it pass this time. Need to figure out a way to make that more clear.

Mindra draws another dagger and slashes at the wolf attacking her. Her first dagger glances off the wolf’s side, but the second she plunges into its jugular, leaving it bleeding out in the grass. She then drops prone in the tall grass.

OOC: Mindra is Heavily Obscured, and so has Disadvantage on ranged attack rolls against her (but she is not Hidden).

Haldar extends his hands in arcane gestures and mutters words of power and fire flashes out, striking into the grass. There is a screech as he hits a goblin he can’t see.

And ignites a patch of grass on fire.

OOC: Just need Garrett’s actions then. [MENTION=6857126]NeoNinevite[/MENTION]

Confident his allies can overcome the remaining goblins and wolf, Haldor uses his control over fire to put out the flames he created.

Theremin is hurt badly, and the goblins seem to have been defeated, since there are none close to him. Another one like this one, and I won't be seeing that priestess' eyes tonight! he says to himself halfheartdly. He will stay put, and wait to see if a threat comes about.

OOC: Action: total defense
