Heroic and Cinematic action...in D20?

In the particular case of the OP, I'd probably rule that the player could substitute Tumble for Bluff in an attempted Feint. I'd give the defender a +5 bonus to the opposed roll though.

Upon considering Pielorinho's observation about the incredible usefulness of Tumble already (I'm currently playing a high-Tumble Halfling Rogue and it's pretty sweet), I might ammend that to substituting Climb for Bluff.

Heh... Adding a cinematic feel is one of the things action dice are for in Spycraft :). Running up walls for that little bit of shock and suprise is a use of the Climb skill specifically spelled out in our Hong-Kong action supliment, The Pan-Asian Collective (along with about 80 feats covering various martial arts and melee weapon tricks). Things like skill uses tend to port pretty cleanly between D20 products...

Yep, I use action dice in my D&D games. By changing a couple of things and adding a good bunch of additional options, they make for a nice addition to the game. Both the players and I like them, so they must be working well :)
