What are your favorites?

Likely none that would suit your group. I like Claustrophobia for example, but it's 2 player only, and it's very much a Marmite thing.

I would send that list to your group and see what strikes their fancy. People's needs and tastes vary, I have no idea how big your group is, what genres they like, whether they would like cooperative or competitive, how long your game sessions are, etc. It might be interesting to ask your group.

theoretically you can have someone be a DM/monster controller


if you are looking for an alternative to fantasy or even fantasy i would go with pulp alley. solo/coop/vs . Might be the best system out there
