Alas, I know a few. One is in my gaming group. Apparently the redness of his neck counteracts the groove. My wife, while not quite afraid of the funk, often gives me that look when me and the children get down with our bad selves. My father, in his blessed ignorance, insists on lumping funk and disco together. But then he thinks Huey Lewis qualifies as rock and roll.
