Hide in Plain Sight vs Blinsight

If a character uses the Hide in Plain Sight special ability, can he/she hide from creatures with Blindsight? Would creatures employing blindsight still have to succeed at their spot check, or do they automatically notice you?

I don't believe so, but I could be wrong (I'm shootin' from the hip on this). From the SRD...

"Such sense may include sensitivity to vibrations, acute scent, keen hearing, or echolocation."

Hide wouldn't really help against any of those things. Move Silently would probably help against the keen hearing though.

Hide in Plain Sight would not help against Blindsight. All a creature with Blindsight needs to detect something in range is line of effect.
