You get more PP and can have higher ranks in the powers (and some other stuff).

Ah, only posted a couple rules questions there to get some official answer on them.

I know... After a year and a half your username is very recognizable and its kind of fun to read the Official Q&A.

I've only played in two PbP's here (which both didn't get continued by the respective GM unfortunately).

I hate to be so off topic but since I made the thread... I have a game forming on another board, it’s pretty full, but knowing your posting habits and your ability to RP if you want in please say so. (Its PL10, mostly 4color)

I would obviously love to play in one... but not run one.

Yeah, the "leftover points" after buying powers increase with leveling, som you can sort of have both higher ranks and more skills, is that what you mean?

Anyway, what I was hinting at was that you don't have weird stuff showing up at higher levels. Everything, even stuff like blindsight that only comes in at higher levels, is available from the start is you pay the points, without a level prereq. (Too lazy to check up on Minions/Sidekick, so nyah if I'm wrong on that one. )

I mean, that overall power is improved on at least two independant axes, one is the amount of PP and the other the higher limit in individual powers.

Therefore overall power does not improve in a linear fashion.

Thanks, while I'd like to play some M&M eventually, I'd prefer to play on a board I already check (like this) and I'm already playing in a few games (not M&M but still), too (plus DMing one).

Thanee, yeah I know the feeling but ENworld isn't the most consistent of things, I've learned the hard way to have some PbP action on the side.
