Adventurer
I'm making a 10th level wizard for my buddy's Necropolis game (I've mentioned this elsewhere) and I'm wondering if there are any official resources for determining how many spells a wizard has in his spellbook when you make him at higher than 1st level.
The PHB describes how many spells you learn when you level up, but D&D presumes you'll put more spells in your book as you adventure. I'm looking for a method that gives some indication how many spells a 10th level dude would have in his book through normal adventuring.
Also, if there is no such thing, how do you figure out what spells are in a high level NPCs spellbook?
