Whoa.. hilts are very cool, and very powerful. These can be lots of fun, but I can see certain players abusing them by adding a hodge podge collection of toys. So long as they are always themed its a lot of fun though, and no more powerful than many magic items. I like the XP cost a lot. Nice system.

One of my current players will love your gunslinger. Its how she describes her character, right down to the everburning cigarillo.
