Yep certainly are, it's now winter over here and the mountains where the fires ripped through are now covered in snow.

Good morning Hivers. Off for a team bonding thingy today ... otherwise known as a trip to an amusement park.

For some added amusement, stop by the hardware store on the way to the amusement park. Pick up a handful of really large nuts and bolts. As you stand on the platform waiting your turn on the roller coaster and watching your friends pull out of the station, make sure they see you hefting the nuts and bolts in your hand with a maniacal grin on your face...

My comfy chair died today. Well, more like 15 minutes ago, I had to take it out to the garbage bins. It was sad. I had that think for over four years, my Sister gave it to me after she had used it for a few. I am left with a lousy futon (great to sleep on, lousy to sit on...wierd, I know) and kitchen chairs that are okay, but not of a type I can recline in. I like reclining when I read and watch TV. So, no more reclining till I get a new chair.

Sorry Crothian but the chair's hourglass had emptied and I had to come and take it away to the big land of furniture polish in the sky. Mourn but do not despair, for it has passed on to a better place.
