I’m back …. Just gotta share this. Received my mail today, which contained 3 letters from my company to me.
Letter #1: Invitation to join the company’s employee share plan
Letter #2: Signed notice that I will officially be redundant and out of a job come Thursday
Letter #3: Unsigned letter stating that my redundany has been delayed until 31 December

The reality is my redundancy has been delayed untl 31 March. Don’t you love HR!

Greetings all. I've noticed the Hive really is getting very quiet these days. Does anyone think it's time to lay it down to sleep, and admit that randomlingshouse is where the Hive's home is these days?

I know your big smile there at the end was meant as a warm welcome and gentle nudge in that direction, but I'm just not quite ready to make that transition yet. Maybe it is a phobia of wombats, and maybe it has to with the fact it is far too much Hive in one place for any reasonably sane gibbon.

I've posted a few times there, and have never felt fuly at home. I like the black backgrounds and simplicity of one thread. Having a whole board full of randomness (maybe why Randomling is running the show, huh?) is difficult for me to keep track of, or even find where the last post I made was.

Maldur has specifically invited me several times, and I know I will have to give this up one day, but we are an institution of sorts here. Sure, the originals have left us, and even some of the first generation rarely post, and only those of the new gaurd remain with any consistency, but still I feel someone should be around.

No real reason except Morrus made us a nifty little icon and everything.

Of course, with a Hivemind icon, I suppose we ought to stay here a little while longer. It's just that I've noticed this thread moves slower and slower these days, especially since the number of threads on the front page has dropped.

I still drop by here from time to time, because there are regular Hiveminders that haven't migrated to Randomling's House yet. Skade, RH isn't that bad now, she's reorganized the boards so it's easier to find certain topics. She's still working on the color scheme, though.
