Hellhound estimates it'll be published in a few weeks :)

Very cool. I can gaurantee you my purchase, even with having a draft version on my PC at home. Have you seen what the cover is going to be? How's the art and who's doing it?

What does that refer to? Never have asked, but been curious all this time.
Its a magical creature that lives in the library of the unseen university in Anhk-Morporck, it eats through books with the speed of a bullet, and leaves .303 holes in books. Its one of the dangers the librarians has to fight to protect his charges: the books.

Read more Diskworld by Terry Pratchet.

Well, I sent in an art request list but I don't know how things are coming on or who's doing what yet. Hopefully I'll hear from Hellhound sometime soon about it :)

[salutes] Aye, Captain!

I think the only books of his I have ever read are Gaurds! Gaurds! and some book he wrote with Neil Gaiman about the end of the world, and some very mixed up Divine and Infernal forces. Good Omen I think it was.

Is Discworld serious, or humorous?

Definitely humerous with a fair dash of insanity thrown in for good measure. Coincidentally I’m currently rereading Good Omens … all cassettes put into a UK car turn into Queen within a fortnight – Love it!
