[hivemind] Look on my works ye mighty and despair

We have been on water restrictions for the last 18 months or so now :( The average rainfall here for this time of the year is 250ml (or 10 inches); so far this year we have had 90ml (or about 3.5 inches).

What are you having for breafast?

I got a McMuffin at McDonalds. There is one just across the street from my office, which has been the bane of my eating habits.

18 months of water restrictions? Yikes!

I'll also send a "howdy" to Kitana. I lived in Texas for three years; my wife's from Irving.

EK, has Maldur sent you that file of ours?

I've been thinking maybe it would make a good pdf, if he, Undfind and I were to flesh it out even more. Would that suit you?

Do you mean Misty Harbour? Yes I have it. As for fleshing it out, it certainly has that potential, IMO. But I don't have the time and resources to devote to it to bring it up to scratch to make it worth selling, unfortuneately :(

Not sure how likely she is to respond; that post was over 12 hours ago :)

How's things, Kitana? Another person I haven't seen in the hive before.

Someone who needs to get her sorry butt to work ;)

Yum. I used to work early mornings at McDonalds; bacon and egg McMuffins were my favourite breakfast.

The water restrictions don't look like getting any better soon either. In fact, in Melbourne they are considering tightening them.

I can appreciate that concern. Having no experience in this sort of publishing I could be wrong in what I am about to suggest, but I can handle the editing (despite any errors in my posts), and can structure it in any way you'd like. Art would be the real problem, though Undfind is a pretty good pen'n'pencil man, even if he is MIA.

Just a thought.

My arms ache.

I go to university in Durham (north england) but will spend the holidays in southern england. Since I can't drive, one of m parents by themselves couldn't manage the long car trip and shifting all my stuff at uni by themselves, and the chances of getting both parents into the same car to do it is zero, I am forced to leave most of my stuff up in Durham over the summer. Fortunately one of my friends whose parent owns some property up here has said I can leave my stuff at hers, but this means carrying all the boxes over there from where I'm living at the moment.

I've stopped for a lunch break, but my arms still ache :p

Of course, it is up to you, it is your work after all. Just letting you know though, with us anyway, we have the Mazes book out shortly, followed by Wilderness Master, then two un-announed books. That's going to keep me busy for quite some time.

I hear you. My wife and I just moved last weekend. We now live in a sea of boxes. We eat dinner on the living room floor. At least we got our bed assembled.

I like the McMuffins, but am seriously addicted to McDonalds' Coke. Maybe I am a freak, but Coke tastes better out of a McDonalds fountain (sip).

Hopefully it will be a wet winter for you guys, Eternalknight. How far are you from Melbourne (asks the geographically challenged)?

Without UnDfind's vote, it really doesn't matter if I think it should be developed more fully. I just think that in its's current state it is not good enough for even an article. I'll just try and fix the issues I see in the current draft.
