EDIT: Well, in the US, WE call it Dragons and Dungeons, and it started with 10th edition, and is counting down! We're on 7th ed. now, using the 20D system.

Well, y'see, 'soccer' football involves kicking the ball around the pitch. American football seems to be a version of rugby where all the players are too frightened and have to wear lots of armour and only sometimes kick the ball, usually running around with it in their hands instead

So real football is the English one

My parents live at 100m from the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium...
Today my father haven't been able to take the car to go to work because most streets were already closed in preparation for the match...

actually, you should read the history of football, in many parts of the world carrying the ball was part of the norm, i am right now reading "the birth of the modern" and part fo it covers the unification of football rules in the first half of the 1800's, fascinating stuff

Heh. Reading it now. Took longer to post than intended this time, but it'll get better. Lots of (good) life shake-ups with the Ruined One these days...
