Night, Steve!

Skade: I just some really good ideas.

Clockworks can do so much more that the things I was thinking about earlier :D

Of course they can. I think of clockworks as the basis for al sorts of technology, much as it was in its time, and for a modern analog much as circuit boards.

You could have clockwork
cannons
firearms
vehicles
armor
tools
kitchen aids
transit systems
"modern" appliances
toys
robot ninja monkeys

You read my mind !!!
Allthough I did add vehicles, transist systems, armor, monkeys or weapons thats about the list I came up with.

didn't know you had something positive in your sig. That is a pretty funny comic :D

I was turned onto it this afternoon and have been reading it off and on since. It is one of the funniest things i have readin a long time...and oh so close to home.

Can I write up the robot ninja monkey?!?!?!?

Offcourse you can!

But I envision the robot ninja monkeys more mistmancy than Clockworks. They need a more consious control.

control? oh no. You get a big crate with about 20 of them in it, go to the roof and wind them up with a timer so you can get away. Off they go, ginsu-ing anything that stands in their way, hopefully they run out of juice before they hit the street, caus we need to keep civilian casualties to a minimum. :D

NAsty but I didn't add a motive mechanism, I left that for automatons. I didn't want to overlap.

That is a pretty nasty idea though.......pondering time again :D

Things can be adapted. technology can be modified. Leave the systems in place, and let DMs modify to their needs. The evil monkies might be unique.

Oh, and I'm all about the massive mayhem, :D

I gotta get to bed. Have a good one Maldur.

Guys, I really love your steampunk ideas...
ES #2 will rock :)

BTW, you have pushed me to take back my Perddo Street Station... Yesterday evening I spent several hours reading it...
