Not much. Just browsing the Hive and watching TV. What about you?

Just finished yet another exciting adventure in Corvis. Actually, tonight was just fun, no excitement, though I did get some laughs. Now, I'm kinda writing, talkin' to my peeps, and wondering if I'm a hypocrit. More on that in a sec.

Kilmore MERP is not for the feint of heart. :D It is a lethal game, and that is part of its charm. I never let that get in the way of diving into combats I should have logically died in, though. Even with the players dissapointment did it go well?

I noticed a trend. There is a group of kids (I assume) who will randomly begin talking personal life in various threads. It does not bother me personally, but I wonder why start a thread about one thing, very quickly change its thrust to something totally off subject, change threads and repeat? Obviously being a Hiver I have no problem with non-game talk, but it still leaves me questioning their purpose. I almost want to tell them come to us when you wanna talk about off subject stuff. Join the Hive, you're one alread and you don't even know it.

Not at all.

Let's see if I can translate a bit for you.

http://prod.bsis.bellsouth.net/coDataImages/p/Groups/104/104887/folders/65889/424375Underthrust1.jpg

Underthrust: "Taken from the name for jets used to power the upward motion of AGI (Anti Gravity Inductance) hovercraft. In the first days of AGI experimentation, the unpredictability of early AGI technology caused many test pilots to be rocketed into orbit. In all, over 200 hovercraft crews the world over lost their lives due to the deadly underthrust."

-Underthrust bears the marks of black-market cybernetics. Those that perform the procedures to implant underground cyberwear don't usually care about making it look pretty.
NOTE: Cyberwear on most can be identified by simple shapes and lines tattooed on the skin identifying where it has been implanted. This is according to government regulation.

On to Current :)

Well, no one DIED yet (aside from my wolf Buttercup), so I guess that's good. But the party "tank" usually only had one good round of fighting per combat before he got boggled, so he wasn't too happy.

Upper Right: Tattoo on left shoulder: The knife is the symbol of the Eye of the Storm, an anarchist neo-pagan gan out of the Denver Span. The chains are the mark of the slave-class of the gang.

Bottom Right: Cybernetic Implants: -Precision skill implants on the tendons in both forearms. - Mind speed enhanements in left temple. - Jackpoint behind right earlobe connecting to a system diagnostics and control/interface platform. - Remote Interface Sighting Platform installed on right temple (increases accuracy when used with a properly rigged weapon).

Bottom Left: AGC 9 millimeter semi-automatic "Falcon." Rigged with a remote interface sighting unit.

Current is the techie of the group. Among other things, she designed Trueshot's AGI bow.

Pic of Current

On to Trueshot.

Our very first merp session one of the players died in the first combat, first round with a critical fumble on a flail. He was never the same after that. I loved it. I on the other hand was playing a Animist (is that right?), up in the trees raining death on my foes with abandon. Great fun.

Still a little risque :)

Upper Left: Cybernetic Implants: -Amplified reflexes and dexterity in left arm (for aim). -Heightened strength and toughness in right leg. -Jackpoint behind right earlobe, connecting to 2.4 terrabytes of allocated brain storage (for text and still images).

Immediately to right of pic: True, after a long day at the office ;)

Right: True's AGI bow was built by Current.

Lower Right: Tattoo at the small of her back.

Trueshot is a markswoman of amazing skill. Her and Deadshot are the team's snipers.

Another pic of Trueshot

Bonus pic of Deadshot

That's the three written-on pics for ya'.

Make more sense now? :D

EDIT: Oh, and Comatose Euphoria is a band (Current's favorite)

Nice picture, UnDfind. Did she get the boots from Hennet? :)

Skade,
I don't think you're a hypocrite. The Hive was meant for off-topic disccussions. Perhaps they don't know about the Hive.

I think I will mention it to them next time I'm in a thread with them. Can't hurt, the most they could do is get flamy, and I'm flame retardent.

UnDfind, what year approximately, is your Nexus 40 set in?

Thanks! Her boots are from the 'Intelligent Tweaker,' a clothing store in Seattle specializing in "alternative and counter cultural wear for the informed geek."

The year 2104...a LOT has happened between now and then. World is a different place :)
