You can peruse music while working....The last job I had they stuck it on the crappiest radio station in town and took the speakers out of all the comupters. ON the other hand you have my husband who works in a radio station....he can listen to anything in a sound proof studio with an awesome sound system. Of course its radio so it pays crap.

No the work computers are all speakerless, and the lobby plays this godawful latin mix, mostly strange covers of 70's music, and callipso sounding stuff.

Here in my office I have my laptop, which is really a very expensive walkman. I basically use it for music, and occassionally to work on files while I am not in my office, but at the Front Desk.

But one of my coworkers sometimes uses his laptop to listen to offbeat remixes of ABBA. But the guy can NOT remix!

So Im stuck with the tunes in my head (currently the chorus of "this corrosion")

Morning all. Looks like this thread is rapidly coming to its 400 post ending. Any thoughts for a title to the next one? Based on the most recent conversation I'd say it should pertain to either Cats or Star Trek (or Cheese, we can always do cheese).

I love the Erasure cd that covers ABBA songs. That rocks, except for the rap segment on one song. ABBA does not totally drive me into convulsions, but every time I hear Dancing Queen it stays in my head for days.
