As for the electric company thing: that is our stupid governors fault ( *I* didn't vote for him) who is currently facing a recall.. heh heh

but fortunatly the riots generally all happen in L.A. and I live like 60 miles from L.A. so.. yeah... they could never come here!

Um lived here almost 23 years, had 123 degree heat, a couple tornados, slush once, a few hail storms, but I can't remember being attacked by meteors.

I would consider the California State Government to be a natural disaster as well...

Yeah, things like that can get out of hand real quick and get really bad. The best thing to do is get out of there once those things start getting out of hand.
