My group started The Rise of Tiamat several months ago, and the next leg of the campaign is mine to DM (we rotate DMs). We did not play Horde of the Dragon Queen. The DM that started TROT wanted to get the action going quickly so he mentioned it but did not go into detail. I want to pepper some tales of the previous party or heroes and why they did not (could not) step up for TROT. Did anyone else skip the first leg of the campaign? Do any of you have a synopsis that you prepared that I can crib some details from?
