D&D 5E How are you going to play 5e and why?

I had just started a homebrew Pathfinder game a few weeks before snagging my early release copy of the PHB, so I asked my players and they were actually pretty eager so we switched over the game to 5e. It's been running weekly since, and I picked up the MM without hesitation. It's been great so far. A few tweaks to players to keep the feel. One character was playing mystic theurge, so we switched him over to sorc and I gave him a limited selection of divine spells to keep the flavor. Monk switched to paladin, which actually led to some great roleplaying, and dovetailed very nicely into the events of my story. Thief stayed a thief, and is a terror to behold. Seriously, she almost always goes first in combat, and has very nearly one-shot some of my tougher enemies. All-in-all the game has been great, and I'm really coming to love the system. Combat is smooth, the condensed skills make so much more sense and everything is going well so far.

Every-other-week game with long-time friends. We're settling into the system with Phandelver (almost done), then I'm running Tyranny of Dragons, set in Eberron. Also, I'm adjusting things so the group can continue with their Phandelver characters at 5th level, rather than resetting. Looks like it won't be too bad to make the conversions/modifications, which has me totally sold on the system. After ToD, I'll probably switch to pure homebrew, like I did for 1e/2e.

I'm also planning on starting up an Age of Worms conversion to teach my kids how to play. That's on hold until after basketball season, though, as that takes out two of them for most weekends. I ran an afternoon's worth of Phandelver for the oldest two and my wife. They were immediately sold. I'm almost more excited about playing with the kids than my established group.
