How big are the Giants of Legend figures anyway?

Just saw this post from Mike Donais, and I thought it was worth passing on:

Exactly how big are the Huge figures?
Are they 6" ? Are they 8" ?

Anyone?

I just measured the 3 that were within reach of me.

One was 5 inches to the highest wing tip. (This one is my favourite)

Another was 4.5 inches to the highest branch.

The last was 4.5 inches but her sword went up to 6".

That should give you an idea.

So...

The Huge Red Dragon is 5" to the highest wingtip.
The Treant is 4.5" to the highest branch
The Storm Giant is 4.5" tall, but 6" to the top of her sword.

so... 5" = 127 mm
4.5" = 114.3 mm
6" = 152.4 mm

I got the Large Silver Dragon and I was kind of disappointed in the size of it... don't get me wrong, nice mini (mine has a GORGEOUS paint job actually) but it seemed small, especially next to my beloved Orcus mini... (I celebrated when I found Orcus, he so f-ing rocks)

Orcus is nice because you can also use him for a Balor or Pit Fiend.

We have to remember that "Large Dragon" is actually rather small as dragons go!

True but my question is when will we get Garguantaun or Colossal figures?!!

But 5inchs is fairly large.

I'm sure the designers really want to put some out - but they'll look at how well GoL sells before making the decisions on whether to do it or not.

Hehe.

I've all four aspects, the Large Silver Dragon, the Bone Devil and the terribly oversized Vrock.

I've also got four Carrion Crawlers. Don't know why...

I have a friend that has 4 aspects of Bane he's willing to hand of (well 2 at least) for an aspect of Demogorgon, Orcus and/or a Silver Dragon.
