Current game has two classes from Arcana Unearthed and one from the PH. As long as it fits their character then almost any core class is fine no matter who published it.
 

Let's see. In my current campaign I allow three non-standard "core classes" and a total of 12 PrCs, only two of which are from WotC sourcebooks. We also dropped some of the standard classes, such as Monk and Druid, as well as replacing the Paladin with the Green Ronin Holy Warrior class.

In my next game we will be using Arcana Unearthed as the base, but will add in 3 other "core classes"; PrCs are up in the air at the moment, but probably not too much from WotC.

I am pretty open that way, as long as the classes and the campain flavour mesh.
 

Right now I am running the Forgotten Realms so anything from those books is game (with maybe one or 2 exceptions). PrCs are earned not just given either way so a PC has to find a trainer so I'm not worried about balance because it will usually jive with the story.

As for other games, my homebrew had a few other PrCs and alt.class like stuff from the Monte Books. Typically I like to stay core but I am not opposed to suggestions. DMs that run for me like to stay within the world (Scarred Lands stuff + Core only for Scarred Lands for example).
 


You forgot "other". I don't allow or disallow by source. I don't consider WotC classes to be inherantly better or worse than any other product. In theory, any class could get in. But I don't just let anything in. All prestige classes have to be worked into the campaign setting. I don't let you just take them as a skill set, that's what core classes are for. Tell me you want one and I'll work it into the campaign world if it's appropriate. And I have my own ranger and am contemplating ways to make the sorcerer more interesting.
 

We use only WotC stuff not because we don't allow other things, but merely as other stuff just hasn't really stricken our fancy enough to make us want to try it out, for the most partish kinda sorta.
 

I'm running DragonLance so anything from the Campaign Setting or Age of Mortals is perfectly all right, beyond that I allow most of the PRC from WOTC's class splat books with a few exceptions.

No third part material at all beyond what's published in the Age of Mortals.

Yup. In theory, anything is up for grabs. We just haven't seen anything worthwhile from a 3rd party. (Haven't seen much worth while from WotC.)

I'm starting up a campaign in a homebrew setting come spring. There, I'll be using mostly custom PrCs. I may use custom base classes, to. Especially considering that I'd like to overhaul the magic system by then.
 

Meh... I really would want to try Dominatrix (prestige class) from the Book of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, but our DM won't have it, understandably. At least I don't want to be a Tentacle Master.
I have done an alternate race, the seikki, and the dm added many other alternate creatures which I believe are from a different game.
