How could a vampire fake his own death?

Do the characters (or you) still play vampire on nights then? Or would you then convert to D&D since nobody wants to play a game about whats practically everyday life?

Oh, we weren't really playing it as "a game" really in the first place. At least not in the sense of "This is myself as a character for our new 'What if we were really vampires' campaign." It was just a fun discussion of some of the mundane issues you would actually have to deal with as a vampire. We just tried to keep it in the framework of the Vampire rules so that we could add some aspects of it to future games.

Once the discussion got beyond the "adjusting to your new situation" stage, there wasn't much point. And if we threw it back into the normal WW WoD setting with clans and everything, then it would just be another Vampire game with the geeky and disturbing aspect of playing yourself as your character. That might be nice for a night or two of gaming or discussing cool ideas, but as an ongoing campign it seems kinda lame and pathetic. It's one thing to run a 'character' thru a fantasy game, but quite another to imagine it's 'yourself' in the game. That way lies madness and the big "L" on your forehead. ;)

Well, that and it would save you a lot of time, not having to write up a character background and personality. (crazy? me? hell, yeah)

:D

True, and there'd be none of those stupid comments like "I don't think your character would do that!"
"Yes, I would!" :p
