How did you find EN World?

Read about in an article in Games magazine on online resource for RPGs about two years ago - about the time this oldtimer was thinking about getting back into RPGs after an absence of many years.

A serious question from Morrus:
How did you find EN World?
A smart-alecky answer from Richards:
Quite excellent, actually.
Seriously, I think I followed a link from a poster over on the Wizards of the Coast boards. This was back in Eric's day, before he passed the baton to Morrus.

First came to the site about 4 years ago during the last days of 2e, I believe I heard about it in a D&D related chat room. Didn't start regular posting until well into the ENWorld phase.

Like many, I originally found Eric's site while hunting for information on 3e prior to release. It was a particularly good site, so I bookmarked it and have been following along ever since.

I found the site because of Neverwinter Nights. Someone posted a link to Sepulchrave's Story Hour on one of Bioware's forums a while back.

I had emailed my friend PirateCat a copy of our party log for our western campaign. He liked it and suggested that I post it to the "Story Hour" forum. I found that I liked it here so I stayed.

Shortly after D&D 3e came out and I started playing it with some friends, I just searched for a good D&D website and found Eric's page.

I found my way here via Eric's site, following a link from RPG Planet, after reading something somwehere from some WotC employee who mentioned surfing RPG Planet.

Question for Morrus (or anyone else who remembers) -- when was it that Eric passed the torch to Morrus? I was trying to remember how long I've been coming here, and I think it was about 5-6 months before that.
