How did you find EN World?

I was a lazy DM and found myself shamelessly ripping off ideas from the Adventure Contest entries back in the day. I kept forgetting to bookmark the site but I always remembered the name "Eric Noah" and every time would find the site by googling his name. Eventually I figured out that there were messageboards here too.

I found the site a while ago (July 2002) and lurked a long time before registering and beginning perhaps the lowest recorded postcount ever :)

Personally, I did a Google search on 3rd edition D&D. I do not quite remember if this was before or right after the PHB came out. I THINK it was before....

Anyhow, Eric Noah's site came up and I was thouroughly impressed with the quality of the information and I stuck around.

When the site was closed down in favor of ENWorld, I migrated over. I've been coming around ever since.

Hope this answer's your question Morrus. By the way, keep up the good work. This site is superb.

I was on a WotC mailing list or something, don't remember exactly what... and someone posted a link to Eric's page. This was pretty close to the beginning of it all, I think- it was well before 3e came out and really helped to build my excitement for it.

I kept seeing people recommending ENWorld on newsgroups and at another message board (probably Monte's, though possibly WotC's). Eventually my curiosity kicked in and I checked it out. Couldn't say exactly when this was, but I wanna think when I first started coming the url was different (d20reviews.com maybe, or maybe I'm thinking of another site). I never posted at first though, mainly stuck to the news and the Conversion Library.

Way back in 2001 I was looking for the holy symbols of Deities in saw in the PHB and I had seen a website which had all those pictures. I kept getting ENWorld link in my google queries. At first it annoyed me every time I saw the 3 in the background, but then I read the threads and I've been here ever since...

Yeah, so I saw this flyer in my local gameshop about an AD&D 3rd. Ed. thingy, and immediately went home and searched* for any information on it online. Found this guy Eric's site ... not that anyone knew anything, being about 2 weeks after Gen Con.

Mac Callum - who used to be Irda Ranger, but for some reason can't sign in under that name anymore.

* - I almost said "Googled" Now I know that google wasn't a verb back then - did the site even exist? Man times change fast.
