How did you find EN World?

Put me in the (apparently) large group of people who have been lurking here since before the release of 3E. I found the site using a search engine from work & would visit periodically to check on rumors about the new edition. I became a regular in December of 2000 when I finally bought a computer at home. :o During the part of the year in which we game (the non-football half of the year) I am here quite regularly. The rest of the time the Community is spared my presence. ;)

When the first real hints of D&D3e hit the D&D newsgroup, I did a search for D&D3e and found Eric's site waaaaay before 3e and have pretty much lurked with it since then.

Anyone remember Synaptic Dragon?
:D

Can't say as I remember...

Now, I know I heard a rumor that 3E was coming out just as I was getting back into 2E. I went to the wizard's site looking for patches to reinstall the old 2E software. (If only for 3E...)

Next thing I remember I was at "Eric Noah's Unofficial D&D New Site," if I recall correctly. I didn't even register for over a year. I just started checking back with more regularity until I was checking it all the time...reading the message boards...registering with the intention of posting, but closing my browser without submitting the post. I was shy. :o

Now I'm not four-digit poster or anything like that. But I've read and felt a part of a community where I was welcome to stick my head up if I had something to say. (Raises glass; St. Patty's Day is still in my blood.)

I was referred to Eric's site by another member and friend--Old One.

Hmm...or was it a ploy to boost the views on his Story Hour? ;)

Whatever his reasons, I've been hanging out around here ever since...

Well, I'm a long timer. I remember searching for info on the then rumored D&D3e. Lo and behold, I came across a little site run by Eric Noah. I soon started visiting it regularly for updated reports on 3e. After 3e was finally released, I still couldn't bring myself to quit visiting it, so here I am today.
(I visited Eric Noah's site when it opened in late 1999, so it's been about four and a half years! I can't believe that time flies so quickly!)

I was pointed to Eric's site by my DM several years back. Lurked, and lurked, and lurked, then finally felt compelled to actually contribute to a discussion when 3.5 changes to Perform were announced. I haven't shut up since. :)

I started as a poster to the WotC newsgroup, where Eric announced that he was starting up his 3E News site. Craving every bit of 3E knowledge I could find, I visited at least once per day, often times more. From there, I came here, and here I am. :)
