How did you spend your New years?

Kara and I stayed over with friends. Fondue. Charades with little kids. Spider Man 2. Sparkling cherry juice at midnight. Had to sleep on the couch due to some snoring. Quiche and sausage for breakfast. Good times. This was, however, the first New Year's in some time when we did not play a one-shot RPG.

Worked the midnight shift.

17 hours double time... plus 12 hours holiday pay... plus 14 hours overtime... plus a 10% shift premium...

Games Plus, here I come.

Got really drunk on a few (by few I mean a 750ml bottle emptied) captain morgan's private stock, coke, and twist a lime. Puked and settled down with a 6 pack.

Went to my friend Marc's wedding. Real nice small ceremony (maybe 35 people tops). Got to see some old friends I hadn't seen in a while. Just sat around trading stories. Toasted the new year then everyone pretty much went home.

Tucked in the baby, watched a movie with my SO and her sister, toasted the New Year with sparkling cider, and went to bed.

Yea, my life is the stuff of legends.

We had a fondue, played a Question and Answer game to find out wild stories ("Paul and Mary lie on the ground, dead. It is wet, and there are shards. What happened?" type). Took a walk to visit the family.

Having dinner with my parents. Reading Tad Williams exellent " The War of the Flowers".
Watching season 3 of 24. Hanging out on EN Worlds irc chat #dnd3e.

Had a small get together at my house. Most of my D&D group came over for it. Some drank (that would be me), others didn't. Tried to go to sleep about 1 am. Bedroom stopped spinning around 3 am. Woke up a little before 8 am when my 15 month old son decided it was time to greet the day. Took some aspirin and Tylenol. Day got much better when it kicked in... :)
