How do Dragon's attack?

quintipple post much?

On the smart thing, dragons have tactics written into their descrition. I say don't play them the way you think is smart, but instead use the tactics they already have in a smart way.(and yes there can be excpetion dragons who use totally different tactics)

It's slightly inconvenient that the MM dragon entry has much of the information scattered around the section, so that you need to put them all together manually. For example, the iterative penalties are listed under each attack form description on p. 61.

You may wish to use my "Dragon Directory" which has all the information compiled together, on this page: www.superdan.net/dnddocs.html

What the ....!

I just logged back on and much to my surprise saw the quintuplets I birthed.

My computer has been acting up this afternoon.

Apologies :D

Remember, dragons are frickin' smart - very smart
Not all of them are. Using the "Adult" category as the average, we get the following Int values:
Black 12, Blue 16, Green 16, Red 16, White 10, Brass 14, Bronze 20, Copper 16, Gold 20, Silver 20.

Whites are only as smart as an average human, and blacks aren't all that clever either. Brass dragons are pretty smart, and the rest are real bright.

OOOOO. Thanks for the insight DCollins. I dig your page. Do you mind if I put a link into it from my campiagn homepage? I think my players could use some of the stuff you've done.

Point taken, Staffan. I just meant to emphasize that dragons can be cunning opponents (and linguists......;)

Can be, sure. Often, they are. I was just a bit tired of the common meme that "All dragons are super-geniuses who can outthink any PC plan after being exposed to it for one millisecond."
