How do I set threads as read automatically?

Ok, before ENWorld went to ENWorld 2, I know there was some sort of option somewhere that set all the threads as read or something when I logged out. I know it was there, because when I'd log back in, all the old threads were marked as read.

But that option got disabled sometime during the upgrades, and now old threads keep showing up as new in my control panel and on the forums. And I can't find where it is under the options, if it's even there. I'd like to know, because I'm a little too lazy to mark them manually every single time I come to ENWorld.

There is a "Mark forums Read" under quick links at the top that will mark the entire site as read. [I discovered it by accident myself, but it may be what you are looking for]

To mark the entire message board as read, there is the Mark all forums read option that cougent mentioned. (A couple lines down from the top, in the same row as "My Account" is the "Quick Links" option).

To mark all the threads in a specific forum as being read, that is a choice under Forum Tools. Forum tools is found in the individual forums, towards the right side of the screen, near the top -- above the actual listing of threads, but below the "My account" line.

You can also mark specific forums as being read by double-clicking the world icons next to them. It does seem to have about a second lag time, but it works.

I know about the one under Quick Links.

So basically, I have to do it manually befeore I log out then?
